The single best way to land your first commercial clients is LinkedIn and email. Not cold calling. Let me tell you why, and exactly what to send.
Why not cold calling
People hate telemarketers. People hate cold callers. Sometimes you catch someone in a good mood, but in my experience a sharp professional email lands better and comes across a lot more professional. So that is where I would put your time when you are starting out.
The three email play
You do not need a huge campaign. Three emails is all it takes.
- The introduction. Who you are, who you help, and one clear reason to reply.
- The follow up. Short, polite, and a little more direct.
- The final email, almost an ultimatum. Let them know this is your last note for now.
After that third email, stop. Assume it is not the right time and circle back to that same prospect in three or four months.
Automate the follow up
This is the most important part. Most owners lose deals because they never follow up. They send one email and give up. Automating your outreach and your follow up is the whole game when you are starting out. Set the sequence once and let it run on a schedule, every time, so nothing falls through.
Pair the email with LinkedIn outreach to the same people. Same prospects, two touchpoints, and you stay professional and top of mind.
How this works in CleanOS
Inside CleanOS you build this in Send Emails and Outreach Campaigns. You import prospects from the Lead Finder, connect your own Gmail, and build the three email sequence once. From there it sends and follows up on its own, so you can spend your time on walkthroughs and bids instead of chasing replies.
The takeaway
Skip the cold calls. Send a short professional three email sequence, run LinkedIn alongside it, and automate the follow up. Consistency is what gets you in the door.
Find the leads, then let it run
CleanOS finds commercial cleaning prospects showing real buying intent, then sends and follows up from your own inbox on a schedule.
