CleanOS Lead Finder is a Chrome extension for CleanOS customers. It helps you find business contact details on a web page you are viewing and save them to your own CleanOS account. This policy explains exactly what the extension does with data.
What the extension accesses
- The page you choose to scan. When you click Find contacts, the extension reads the text of the current tab only to detect email addresses that are already visible on that page. It does not run in the background, does not read other tabs, and does not track your browsing.
- Your CleanOS API key. You paste a key from your CleanOS account into the extension. It is stored locally in Chrome's extension storage on your device and sent only to CleanOS to authenticate your requests.
What is sent, and where
- The email addresses found on the page (and the page's domain/company name) are sent to the CleanOS backend at herosconsulting.ai over HTTPS, solely to verify the addresses (format + mail-server check) and return clean results to you.
- Data is sent only to CleanOS. It is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
What is stored
- Contacts are stored only when you click Save. Saved contacts go into your own CleanOS leads, in your account, under your control.
- Nothing is stored on your device except your API key (which you can clear at any time by removing the extension).
What we do not do
- No browsing history, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no background scraping.
- No selling or sharing of any data with advertisers or data brokers.
- No access to pages you don't explicitly scan.
Your control & deletion
- Remove the extension to delete the locally stored key.
- Delete any saved contact from inside CleanOS at any time.
